Comments:
Microsoft 336k-Dfi/56K-Dfi Driver. When I upgraded a Compaq Pressario 4550 from Windows 95B to Windows 98 (clean install) i found out that the modemdriver in 95b was an upgradable 336K-Dfi. Could not find a driver for it (and that's in my opinion not Compaq like). Then i found at Compaq this link to Microsoft describing how to install a Compaq modem that was not auto detected. And it worked in my case.
