Zoom 2925M Modem Driver

Zoom 2925M Driver. This is the generic driver for the famous Zoom 2925M with the Agere "Lucent" chipset. One thing you must have already known as you came here, which is that this very chipset can turn your life into hell, as many lucent hardware products would!! Furthermore, I did did not invent this driver, it existed for sometime on the Zoom support page, but for some unknown - STUPID - reasons it was replaced by the current so-called "v600" package [URL ==> www.zoomtel.com/files/dial_up/2925_v600.exe ], that has the drivers for model 2925M for all windows versions as the company claims, and evenmore the drivers files are packed into encrypted .CAB files, making it impossible to extract them, and forget about the stupid installer that starts two processes the next reboot (setup.exe, and IKernel.exe), delaying the machine startup without any reasonable output.

The above URL leads you to the company's own current official driver, which might work on some machines, as it did with my home PC, but refused totally on my work PC (IBM 6578-LAG) displaying the mentioned symptoms!!

I was keen to upload this driver because I lost for sometime but found on an old CD of mine, after I spent hours trying to find on this site, but did not.
