Micron SCM001369-04, Version: 90 Driver. V.90 Upgrade for the Akita Faxmodem (Windows 95 and NT 4.0).This file includes a firmware update for the USR Akita 56Kmodem that will modify it to use the V.90 standard for 56K transfer speed. The V.90 firmware update needs only be applied to the modem once. The file also includes a V.90 modem driver for use with Windows 95, Windows 98 and Windows NT 4.0n Do not use the X2 modem driver with the modem after the V.90 firmware update has been applied. Note: The V.90 firmware update changes the firmware on the modem itself and it only needs to be applied once. If you change operating systems or move the modem to another computer the V.90 firmware update does not need to be applied again. The V.90 modem driver can be installed and uninstalled to the operating system as many times as needed.
