Self-extracting ZIP file. Double-click the file and let it unpack to C:\NECUTILS\INSTALL\MODEM. After it has extracted the files:

Click the Start button.

Select Settings, then click Control Panel.

Double-click the System icon.

Click the Device Manager tab.

Click the + next to the 'Other Devices' group.

Now double-click the PCI Communication Device for which you want to update the drivers.

Click the Driver tab.

Click the Update Driver... button and the Update Device Driver Wizard will start.

Click Next and then select the option Display a list of drivers....

Click OK and click the Have Disk button.

Click Browse... and then browse to the following folder:

C:\WINDOWS\TEMP

Click OK and double-click the Conexant 56k.

Click Next to install the driver.

Click Finish to finish the driver update.
