Model:
Operating System: Windows 98 (Note: might work with other versions of this os.)
File: action32.exe
Comments:
ActionTec Driver. This is for the "Actiontec Home DSL Modem (external USB)". The files needed are all compressed into this file. When "Add New Hardware Wizard" screen comes up (it should come up since the modem is plug n play compatible), select "Search for the best driver for your device", then select "Specify the location of the driver." Click the browse button and enter the path of the file (Exp. C \Desktop). If that doesnt work go to www.actiontec.com for a troubleshooting guide for this modem. The driver should automatically install after that. If the DSL Setup Manager does not automatically launch, try opening the setup.exe file (the file is zipped in the action32.exe file). For users with the aol plus service, the next step is inserting your aol plus cd. If problems still persist, visit the troubleshooting guide at www.actiontec.com/support/broadband/homedsl_usb_trguide.html Good luck!
