Many HP PCs use this modem. This driver is tested in many HP PCs. I installed this drivers on my HP Pavilion 4440 (I have many of this Pavilion). If you find the Genmidi.wsl file corrupted, you have to replace this file (in Windows\system drirectory) with a healthy Genmidi.wsl file (I uploaded the zip file). If you still get a not working "Master Riptide PCI Audio Device"; you have to remove the driver to let the computer to reinstall the drivers (after you replace the genmidi.wsl file)
