Comments:
Rockwell any rpi or rpi+ modems Driver. This is a driver for rockwell chipset modems (many brands) that use the "rockwell protocol interface" which allows communication between the modem and the computer's o.s. so that v.42bis,LAP -m, MNP2 -5, etc error correction and data compression algorithms can be run in software modes by the client computer rather than from rom in the modem. If you have a rockwell chipset modem and suspect that it may use rpi/+ try sending this command to it via a terminal app ATI3 - this will instruct the modem to report information about it's model, firmware, etc which will contain the acronym rpi if you need this driver. this file is a self extracting zip which contains the drivers, setup program and documentation about the drivers and suitable initialisation strings to tell the modem to use them. i hope it helps!
